316L stainless steel has good cold and hot processing performance, good thermoplasticity of steel, overheating sensitivity is low, the appropriate heat processing temperature of 900 ~ 1000 ℃. As the Mo-containing steel is higher, the deformation resistance than the 304 and 304L significantly higher.Cold processing performance is good, can be cold-rolled, cold drawn, deep drawing bending, curling folding cold and cold forming.

Solution temperature is 1050 ~ 1100 ℃, cooling method: water cooling or air cooling, according to the product section size.

Welding: In order to maintain good resistance to intergranular corrosion, after solution treatment should be carried out, if not allowed to heat treatment, to use 316L.
