B400NQR1 steel plate Hardening and Solution treatment

B400NQR1 Steel Quenching/Hardening: The hardening treatment for B400NQR1 steels consists of heating the steel to a set temperature and then cooling it rapidly by plunging it into oil, water, or brine. Most steels require rapid cooling (quenching) for hardening but a few can be air-cooled with the same results. Hardening increases the hardness and strength of the B400NQR1 steel, but makes it less ductile. Generally, the harder the steel, the more brittle it becomes.

B400NQR1 Steel Solution treatment: Solution heat treatment involves the heating of a B400NQR1 to a suitable temperature, holding at that temperature for sufficient time to induce one or more of the constituents to enter into solid solution and then cooling rapidly enough to hold these constituents in solution. This kind of hear treatment is mainly used for the Stainless steel, Aluminium alloys, Titanium alloys, Beryllium copper alloys, Inconel and associated heat resisting alloys, Nickel base alloys, Maraging steels products.

A302 Grade B steel plate Electric Steelmaking has mainly used arc heat, in the arcing area, the temperature up to 4000℃. The smelting process of Electric Steelmaking can be sectioned into three parts or events: melting stage, oxidating stage and reducing stage. The electric furnace not only can form oxidation environment, but also can form reducing environment, this makes A302 Grade B steel plate with high efficiency in dephosphorizing and desulphurizing process.

Hot extrusion A213T91 steel pipe

Hot extrusion is the earliest use of extrusion forming technology among several extrusion processes. Since A213T91 has good plastic characteristics, it can be forged into different shapes in forging temperature. So far, the hot extrusion is mainly used in the manufacturing of normal section of A213T91 long pieces, A213T91 profiles, A213T91 pipes, A213T91 bar and various A213T91 machine parts, etc.

Since A213T91 blank must be heated to a temperature to be hot forged , the severe heating may lead to defects such as oxidation and decarburization.Those defects may affect the precision of the extrusion size and surface roughness. To avoid that, after hot extrusion forming of A213T91 machine parts, we will use cutting and other mechanical processing to improve the dimensional precision and surface quality of parts.

Hot extrusion forming can not only used in steel material with good plastic(like non-ferrous metals and their alloys of strength is relatively low, low, medium carbon steel), but also used in forming high strength high carbon, high alloy steel (such as special structure steel, stainless steel, high-speed tool steel and heat resistant steel, etc.)

X 70 steel

Before the year of 2000, the grade of X70 had already been the most widely used in the pipeline, about 40%. At present, as the extension of pipeline steel outside diameter and the higher requirement of the steel strength, X70 is more and more used in daily life.

As the level of X70 is much higher, many small steel mill can't produce this material due to technical and equipment. In general, this material is mainly produced by the large steel mill like Bao steel, who is one of partner of our company.
