SUS321 Pitting corrosion:
The stable pits 321 and 347 are comparable in corrosion resistance to pitting and galvanic corrosion in alloys containing chloride ions, as well as alloy 304 or 304L stainless steels because of their similar chromium contents. In general, for unstable and stable alloys, the chloride content in the water environment is limited to 100 parts per million, especially in the presence of interstitial corrosion.
